Protoplane has three directions of research;
- Aerodynamic improvement of ultralight aircraft, this applied to the Ultra-e project of electric twin seater of 450 kg (1000 lbs) take off weight.
- Integral hinged flaps with reparted actuation that can reduce the price of the actuation, for UAVs for instance.
- 3D shaping for the introduction of new design concept in business aircraft interiors.
